Chickpea Nutella Spread

Are you ready for a deliciously chocolatey dessert/ spread (a healthy version of Nutella) that’s going to blow your mind?
This chocolate spread recipe is so easy to make and so fun to dip with your favourite snacks. It’s vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free, too, so it’s truly the perfect dessert for anyone! My kids love dreaming up all the things one could dip in it: pretzels, berries, bananas, graham crackers — the options are endless. And trust me it tastes heavenly on toast or just like that with a sprinkle of nuts (it’s like this smooth chocolate mousse, just add some low-fat cream on top)

Ingredients :
* 1 1/2 cups boiled chickpea
* 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1/2 cup coconut sugar (or you can use maple syrup/ honey- the quantity will change to 4 Tbsp, or pitted & soaked 8 Medjool dates)
* 1/4 tsp salt
* 3 Tbsp olive oil
* 4 Tbsp dark chocolate chips (optional)
* 1 Tbsp peanut butter
* 3-4 Tbsp water (optionally)

Directions:
1. In a blender or in a food processor, combine all the ingredients except water.
2. Puree until the mixture is smooth, about 30-60 seconds. Add water 1 Tbsp. at a time to create the desired consistency.
This spread is not only delicious but also packed with nutrients that can benefit your health. For example, dark chocolate is a good source of antioxidants and can help lower blood pressure. It is high in fiber & protein, and B vitamins.
